NOTTINGHAM
My obsession with Nottingham, and more specifically old Nottingham, is fuelled partly by being born in the great city but also having spent some of my life away from it.
My family tree reveals that the Williamson family have rarely ventured away from Nottingham and as a result a love for Nottingham, and how it once would have been, grew.
My collection of Nottingham related prints started with the travel style print of the old Trent Bridge, as it would have looked from the Meadows end of the bridge in the early 1900's.
I have since created more Nottingham related pieces with some help from the archive material at
Picture the Past (picturethepast.org.uk).
My display of Nottingham prints was exhibited at the Patchings Festival in Nottingham
in 2017 - the first Digital Artist to do so.
